Annual General Meeting

Please join us in-person at our Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 18 at Blue Quill Community Center. We ask you register in advance if possible to give us an idea of how much food to order. 

We will be having pizza at 6pm, and the AGM at 7pm. The venue fits our entire membership with ample space so we hope you can make it out! Please note there is no liquor allowed, but feel free to bring non-alcoholic beverages.  

We need quorum from our members to approve:

• 2025 Agenda, 
• 2024 AGM Minutes

• 2023/24 Audited Financials, 
• 2023/24 Statement of Operations
• 2024/25 Current Statement of Operations
• 2024/25 Monthly Financial Summary

We are also looking for 3+ volunteers to fill the following roles on of off the executive:

• Paddler at Large: we are looking for someone to help out with grant applications and reports for the club. This includes the InMotion Network grant twice annually, an annual Paddle Alberta Subsidy, and any other grants that come up which you have the time/capacity to apply for)
• Paddler at Large: we are looking for someone to advertise upcoming courses on social media platforms 
• Special Director or non-exec volunteer: we are looking for a few people to assist in the organization of the film fest (this includes: contacting sponsors, picking up door prizes, helping with event set-up/take-down, and other miscellaneous tasks).
