Whitewater Theory and Safety

There is a lot of information for the new paddler to try and understand. Whitewater kayaking has its own unique language and culture that make it a bit daunting to decode. During our Whitewater Theory and Safety evening, we will help you demystify some of the information you need to know to make your first season on the water a success. If you’re an experienced paddler but new to the club, this is a great evening to learn how our club trips work. The talk is led by one of the senior instructors and there will be lots of time to get clarification on various points.

This session is a prerequisite for any club “On River” program.
