Saving Wilson (the boat without a paddler)

** This is a common adventure, not formally led programming. Attend at your own risk.**

This evening is designed for our BDP/NPP leaders, sweeps, and mids, and SWR grads to practice flipping kayaks, pushing kayaks, emptying kayaks over their bows, throwing paddles, performing hand-of-God rescues, and more. We will meet at the BV seacan at 6pm, borrow some club boats (filled with maximum flotation), and paddle down the NSR for some practice.

Open to any club member who is a swiftwater rescue graduate.

Required gear: Boat, float bags, paddle, skirt, helmet, PFD with whistle, proper paddling attire

Special thanks to InMotion for their ongoing financial support and encouragement, which has helped increase women’s leadership in our club since 2023.
