Common Adventures

Common Adventure paddling is any paddling that happens outside the club's structured, paid programming, whether by a participant who isn't registered for programming or by a program participant during unscheduled time. On a Common Adventure, there is no designated leader, guide, or instructor. Paddlers organize as peers, share decisions and costs, and each person is fully responsible for their own equipment, skill assessment, and safety. No one, including the club, holds liability for another paddler's decisions or actions.

Special thanks to InMotion for their ongoing financial support and encouragement, which has helped increase women’s leadership in our club since 2023.
